FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - REGISTRATION
QUESTION:
What is your registration process?
ANSWER:
You can arrive anytime starting at 7:00am and proceed to the event. Our personnel will direct you and you will park first, then you can proceed to the community building to register and collect your goody bag. If you are pre-registered for the show, you can go the the community building to check-in and collect your goody bag.
At the time of registration, participants will be provided an assigned registration number which must be displayed on the show vehicle (Driver’s side front window). If you pre-registered, you will receive your number at check-in, but yourassigne dnumber will also be sent to you in advance of the show.

QUESTION:
Is there a minimum age requirement to attend the show?
ANSWER:
All Participants must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
If you are under the age of 18, you must have a guardian in attendance that can sign this registration.

QUESTION:
What years, makes or models are allowed to register for the show?
ANSWER:
We have no vehicle restrictions. Our show is open to all years, makes, and models of cars, trucks, tractors. and motorcycles/side-by-sdes. Since we have only a handful of motorcycles and side-by-sides, we have combined these two categories together opposed to eliminating them. Should these categores grow in the future, they will be given consideration as a separate categories again.

QUESTION:
Can I register more than one vehicle?
ANSWER:
Yes, you may register and bring as many vehicles as you wish. We have no limit as to the number of vehicles a person can enter as long as you have a licensed driver for each vehicle, that each driver has a valid driver's icense, and current insurance on each vehicle entered. You will need to complete one registration form for each vehicle you are entering.

QUESTION:
When does pre-registration start and end?
ANSWER:
Pre-registration for the following year opens the day of the show.. The on-line registration will start for next year a day or two following the current car show. Do note that all pre-registrations online and mail-in registrations will close on July 1st of each year which is three weeks prior to the show. This is done to ensure that any mailed registration forms and payments have time to reach us prior to the show date.

QUESTION:
Can I register the day of the show?
ANSWER:
Yes, you may register onsite the day of the show starting at 7:00 am.

QUESTION:
I see that online registration has closed, does this mean I cannot get in the show?
ANSWER:
No. If you are no longer able to register on-line, this means we have closed down pre-registrations. You will only encounter this if you attempt to register on-line between July 1st and the show date. You can still show up for the event and register in person the day of the show.

QUESTION:
I can no longer make it to the show. Do you offer registration refunds?
ANSWER:
We no longer have a refund policy. Refunds are on a case-by-case basis and for reasons that are deemed out of your control. These must be approved by the show coordinator and must be requested no later than one week before the show.

QUESTION:
I pre-registered and am bringing another car than I listed. Is that ok?
ANSWER:
Yes, your vehicle pre-registration guarantees your spot at the event regardless of the vehicle you have registered. If you need to change your vehicle, we request that you email us at CoatesvilleCarShow@gmail.com so it is documented. You need to be sure to include the new vechicle information (year, make, model) in your email. We are no longer able to change your goody bag materials and absorb the associated cost by doing so (omly applies if the foody bag has already been prepared). Therefore, your goody bag will most likely contain all the materials for the original vehicle that was entered. By emailing us, we will inform registration so they can mark it on their records. You will just need to let them know when you check in and they will provide you a new vehicle placard.

QUESTION:
Can I transfer my registration to someone else if already I pre-registered and paid and can no longer make it to the show?
ANSWER:
Yes, you may transfer your registration. The process is exactly the same as above for a vehicle change. The only difference is that you also need to include the name of the person you are transferring your registration to along with their vehicle information.

QUESTION:
Will I get an event t-shirt as part of my registration?
ANSWER:
T-shirts are only available only to the first 100 people that pre-register. Once 100 people have registered, they will no longer be available

Will I receive a dash plaque as part of my registration?
ANSWER:
Like the shirts, dash plaques are available only to the first 100 people that pre-register.

QUESTION:
What do I get for my registration fee?
ANSWER:
This depends on whether you pre-register for the show or register on the day of the show. Starting with the 2026 show, goody bags will only be provided to those that pre-register (usually 150 goody bags)). If you register the day of the show, you will not receive a goody bag. You will still receive a bag with a few specific items, but it will not be a true goody bag. At a minimum. packages will include at least the following:

NOTE: At the show, if you state you mailed your payment and we do not have it recorded, we do not have it! We have no way to check this with the bank on show day. If received after the show date, we will return it to you, but to participate in the show, you will have to re-register and pay the day of the show. Do know that we make every effort to watch for these situations and notify you in advance. Unfortunately, many of these we are not aware of especially if you mailed you registration form and payment together.

QUESTION:
How do I register the day of the show or check-in if I pre-registered?
ANSWER:
Park first. Once parked, please proceed to the community building. The community building is located on Milton Street between the Funeral Home and the Library. Registration will be available in this building for those that want to register the day of the show. If you are pre-registered, you can check-in here and collect your goody bag.

QUESTION:
Do you offer show discounts?
ANSWER:
No, we do not offer discounts. However, at times we may offer a pre-registration incentive on the day of the show for next year’s show. When these incentives are offered, they are for a very limited period and are not repeated a second time. If a special is offered post-show, it is usually only for a week or two at the end of the year around the major holiday season.

QUESTION:
I was a winner at the show, do I get free registration next year?
ANSWER:
No. We only reserve a few spots with a waived registration fee for our primary sponsors (that have a vehicle).

QUESTION:
I just want to come and park my classic car in the show area, but I don't want to register or be in competition for an award. Can I do that?
ANSWER:
Sorry, but no, we do not allow that. We are very limited on space and need every space possible for paid entrants. For that reason, we are not able to allow vehicles that want to show and display only into the show area. Any vehicle without a windshield placard displayed once registration has closed will be asked to remove their vehicle from the show area.

QUESTION:
Can I show my car at the show and offer it for sale as long as I pay the entry fee.
ANSWER:
Absolutely, we have no problem with that. We just ask is that you do not place "For Sale" signs on any of the windows of the vehicle. If offering a vehicle for sale, please place your "For Sale" sign on the seat inside the vehicle.
